Area 53 - 2011 - Photo #26
Last week I did a little storm chasing but never got lucky. I'm still waiting to catch a good lightning photo. I came across this spot that I've shot before, and while there wasn't any lightning there was plenty of good light.

Area 53 - 2011 - Photo #4

I've got a couple photos for this week's post. My main photo is from Friday night. This is the very first photo I took that night.

This is the newest member of our family, Hobo. He raised himself in the forest. I set up some lighting and got him to sit still for about 5 photos.
My last photo is natural light falling on the lovely Laura Berry and her awesome red hair.

Time Lapse
I've been playing with a new technique (well, new to me) in photography, time-lapse photograhpy. Eventually I want to buy a remote trigger that automatically take photos at intervals, but for now I'm doing it the old fashioned intimate way. This is my first attempt, so its just a quick clip. I wanted to make sure it was going to work how I wanted before I spent hours shooting a sequence. I shot this last night from about 11:30 to 11:50pm. This is 42 separate photos, 8 second exposures shot about 10 seconds apart. Then I assembled them all in Sony Vegas (a video editing program).
