Area 53 - 2011 - Photo #11

Last week I finally did something I've been meaning to do for a while, shoot from the top of a parking garage in downtown Windsor. One of the things I hate about this city is how flat it is. I always want to shoot photos from a higher vantage point. This weeks main photo is another panorama looking west towards the Ambassador Bridge.

Week 46

I went out the other night to shoot some taillight photos at the Walker Rd & Grand Marais underpass. I've shot here before but I thought I'd give it another try. I didn't stay too long because it was too cold and I couldn't find my gloves. Everytime winter comes back around I can't find the gloves I had bought the previous winter.

So my photo for this week is looking north along Walker Road with the Chrysler plant in the background. The second photo is the first one I shot this night and I thought it was cool. It's looking east down Grand Marais.

I shot a time lapse of this intersection from another angle, but I still have to put it together. So here's a taste for today. This is at the corner of Walker Road and Grand Maris here in Windsor, Ontario.

Light Trails

I've been doing a lot of tail light photos lately but I still haven't got any that where how I wanted them to be. This is probably my favourite so far. I want to get some that are shot from above but that's real hard here in Windsor because we have one spot in the city that rises more than a few feet, everything else is flat. There's a few parking garages and a walkway over the expressway that I wanna try out, but they're on the other side of the city and I don't have a car right now.
