Week 31

At least twice a year all us BMX'ers in Windsor and the surrounding area gather at the Skate Park in Forest Glade for what we call a Bike Jam. This one was supposed to be on Saturday but because of bad weather it was pushed back to Sunday. I had to work so I got there late.

By the time I was there most of the crazy tricks already went down so I only shot a few photos, including this panoramic during sunset. Its not the best angle of the park but I wanted to get the setting sun in the shot.

The other two photos this week are from my random evening journeys around the county. Enjoy.

Week 30

Every year my friend Kevin has a party out in the county. Usually its in St. Joachim at his parents place, but this year he had his own house to throw it at, in Stoney Point. Check out the photos from last year's Kevstock. This weeks photo is a panoramic from the middle of the front yard. Usually there are a lot more people, but this year was a little light. Even I had to leave early thanks to work in the morning, but otherwise I would have went all night like I usually do at Kevstock.

I shot a lot of photos this week, but as usual I have no time to work on them. So these are just the couple I had edited already. This second shot is out around Leamington somewhere just as a storm was blowing in.

Week 28

I had planned on posting much more this week, but I've got about 5 minutes to spare before I go to bed. So I'll explain quickly. On Thursday Eric Favot threw a little BMX ramp demo downtown at the Freedom Festival (or whatever they call it now). My main photo is Ian Christison from Toronto goin tall with a lookback on the quarter. The second photo is Ian as well.

The photo below is Chase Davidson with a 360. I have some better shots of Chase, trick-wise, but I haven't had time to get to them. I've only edited a handful of the photos from the day.

Last is Eric Favot barspinning the box jump. Again, I have photos of much crazier tricks, but I really like this one still. The rest of the photos from the demo will be up on facebook soon.

Until next time, check out Todd's Photo. He's in NYC right now so I'm sure he's got something interesting.
